Dan joined forces with the two co‑founders of FlemingMartin after more than a decade of partnership and friendship—formalizing a collaboration with two of his closest and most respected colleagues in the industry. Over the past twenty years, he has worked with top VC‑ and PE‑backed companies as well as public technology leaders, consistently delivering impact by placing transformative executive talent for some of the world’s most innovative organizations.
He previously served as a Managing Director at two of the largest global top‑ten executive search firms and was an Operating Partner at Diversis Capital, a lower‑mid‑market private equity firm with $2B in AUM focused on software and technology‑enabled services. As a key member of the value creation team, Dan built the firm’s talent playbook and led critical human‑capital initiatives across the portfolio.
Before that, Dan was the Managing Partner at Calibre One, the leading transatlantic executive search firm, where he served on the global operating committee overseeing P&L and driving the growth and scale of the U.S. business. His tenure was marked by exceptional revenue expansion and significant team growth.
Dan holds an MBA from Golden Gate University and a BA in Communications from the University of Minnesota. Outside of work, he’s a drummer who plays in a few Bay Area bands, and he enjoys pickleball, golf, and traveling with his wife and two daughters.
