Raul is a proven leader with a deep engineering foundation and significant experience within the industry. After beginning his career in the industrial and aerospace industries, he moved into biotech in 2008. Raul’s career spans Baxter/Baxalta/Shire, Kite Pharma, Edwards Lifesciences, Instil Bio, and ImmPACT Bio/Lyell Immunopharma. His expertise includes building out lab, clinical, and commercial manufacturing sites and improving facilities operations along the way. Raul has a patient-first mindset and enjoys being a part of mission-driven organizations that save lives. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
