Sam is a solutions-focused, purpose driven leader with a passion for continuous improvement. Sam brings deep compensation expertise to Upstart. Most recently, Sam served as the Senior Director of Global Compensation at Sprinklr Inc. (NYSE: CXM), a leading provider of enterprise cloud software analytics products that has has two-thirds of the Fortune 100 companies on its platform.  Sam helped take the company public in July 2021 and drove compensation initiatives and people operations. Previously, Sam has also held compensation and total rewards roles at Marvell Semiconductors and Juniper Networks. Sam is experienced in IPO readiness, equity modeling, and scaling rapidly to support growth. He is dedicated and passionate about building successful programs to attract and retain employees within organizations where he has the ability to try new things. Sam earned his Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Sydney.
