Tempe, AZ, September 11, 2023 – FlemingMartin is pleased to announce that Gen™, a multinational software company that provides cybersecurity software and services through its trusted Cyber Safety brands, Norton, Avast, LifeLock, Avira, AVG, ReputationDefender and CCleaner, has announced Ian Bednowitz as their new GM, Identity and Privacy. In this role, Ian will oversee the global product strategy for several core product lines, including the company’s US identity theft protection brand, LifeLock.
Ian Bednowitz is an accomplished GM with 20+ years of demonstrated success and expertise in developing and executing B2C business go-to-market strategies with a focus on building new cross-border e-commerce businesses. During his time at eBay, Ian built up and led the Company’s import/export business in China and India. In his most recent role with eBay, his focus was on Trust & Safety where he managed $4B+ annual returns and claims volume, focused on increasing speed and resolution and protecting users from abuse. Earlier in his career, Ian spent time as a consultant with Bain & Company.
Ian holds a B.A. from Cornell University and an M.B.A., from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
