Menlo Park, CA, May 24, 2021 – FlemingMartin is pleased to announce that Talis Biomedical (NASDAQ: TLIS), an innovative diagnostics company focused on infectious diseases, has hired Matthew (Matt) Pepe to be their new Head of Talent Acquisition.
Matt will be responsible for Talent Acquisition, working closely with Talis’ VP of HR as Talis enters commercialization with a focus on COVID-19 diagnostic testing. Matt will be responsible for leading a world-class team and building a reputation as a strategic business partner as Talis adjusts to being a newly, publicly traded company.
Matt is a talented TA leader with experience across the life science industry including diagnostic and medical device. In his former role as Associate Director, Talent Acquisition Lead – North America at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, he focused on building out the commercial team for new product launches which included leading a team and working collaboratively across the organization. In his prior role as Senior Consultant at DoubleStar, Matt worked for Jazz on the RPO side before Jazz hired him internally. Before Jazz, Matt worked at Genius Pool, a member of the Greene Group of Families as Division Director and at Global Employment Solutions as Director of Pharmaceutical Services. At the outset of his career, Matt spent 11 years at Joule Scientific & Clinical Staffing as Area Manager. His strengths include relationship building, leading teams, and attracting and retaining top talent.
