South San Francisco, CA, August 12, 2024 – FlemingMartin is pleased to announce that Calico, an Alphabet-founded, R&D company focused on understanding the biology of human aging, has hired Krystle Okialda-Chase as Head of Talent Acquisition.
Krystle is a proven talent acquisition leader with over a decade of experience in the biotech/pharma industry, spanning roles in large, mid-size, and startup environments. Most recently, Krystle served as the Associate Director of Talent Acquisition at ReCode Therapeutics, a clinical-stage genetic medicines company. In this role, she managed the full lifecycle recruiting process across all functional areas within the organization. Prior to ReCode, Krystle held the position of Associate Director of TA for Ambys Medicines, where she established end-to-end recruiting processes and systems for the cell therapy startup.
Earlier in her career, Krystle managed R&D Talent Acquisition for AbbVie (NYSE: ABBV) and helped recruit Commercial and G&A talent to Jazz Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: JAZZ). Krystle earned an M.S. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Washington, and she received a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
