Amkor Technology Names Cherie Buntyn as Chief Accounting Officer

Tempe, AZ, February 2, 2026 – FlemingMartin is pleased to announce that Amkor Technology, the world’s largest U.S. headquartered OSAT (outsourced semiconductor assembly and test) service provider, has hired Cherie Buntyn as their Chief Accounting Officer.
Cherie is an experienced CAO and transformative accounting executive who has operated at public, private, and private equity-backed technology companies, including Intel, Flir, and SurveyMonkey. Her career reflects a blend of technical depth, accounting operations, and large-scale change leadership—most recently leading SurveyMonkey’s transition from public to private, restructuring a global team, standing up a center of excellence, and outsourcing key functions. Cherie is an improvement-oriented operator as well as a people-first leader. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Santa Clara University.
