Nathan Harding To Become Chief Executive Officer Of Ekso Bionics
Frank Moreman to be appointed Chief Operating Officer
RICHMOND, Calif., Nov. 26, 2012 Ekso Bionics today announced that its board of directors will appoint Nathan Harding as chief executive officer.
In addition, Frank Moreman has been elevated to chief operating officer and given the added responsibilities of leading the clinical, sales, and customer service groups. Eythor Bender will be leaving the company.
Speaking on behalf of the Board, Scott Banister said, “Nathan’s execution over the past two years in bringing our revolutionary medical device to market has convinced us that he is the right leader for Ekso Bionics moving forward. As coinventor and co-founder, Nate has a deep understanding of our technology and market opportunities, and we believe he will make the right decisions as we continue to grow.”
Harding said, “I am honored and excited to lead one of the most exciting teams in the world. My co-founder, Russ Angold, and I have been moving this technology forward for over nine years. We have been laser focused on building a great team with great partners and great products. The focus now will be on execution: delivering on our promise of getting people up and walking again, because in the end, that is what this is all about.”
Harding added, “We also want to thank Eythor for his many contributions to our mission and wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
