Fleming Martin is pleased to announce that Bell-Carter Foods has hired Paul Adcock as their new Chief Financial Officer.
Bell-Carter Foods is currently owned and operated by the fourth generation of the families that founded the company. Bell-Carter Foods was founded by brothers Arthur and Henry Bell in the early part of the 20th century and leadership was passed to Arthur’s stepson, Daniel S. Carter, after the depression. Daniel S. Carter led the company until the 1960s when Daniel’s sons, Tim and Jud Carter –the third generation of the family – entered the business. Today BellCarter Foods is led by the 4th generation of the family (Tim T. Carter) and is recognized as the market leader in U.S. table olives.
Paul comes to Bell-Carter from the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, where he served as VP of Finance for the West Business Unit. He began working for that company as an Internal Auditor, and has worked for the company for more than 20 years, serving as a Finance Director, Director of Planning, and finally as Vice President of Finance. Paul Adcock received his Bachelor’s from Bournemouth University in England.
